George O. Gore
George Gore brings 24 years of professional business acumen
and Level 3 Program Manager certification to the forefront
of PAL as we continue to adapt to the new
challenges in our respective markets. During his career as
an Army officer, he worked as a Department of the Army Systems
Coordinator(DASC), responsible for the UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopter
System Acquisition Program and Avionics and Electronic Combat
programs with a combined budget of $13 Billion.
Before coming to PAL, George retired from
the United States Army. served both in the United States and
overseas. He has over 24 years of professional business experience
in Government Procurement and Acquisition Management; Test
and Evaluation; Research and Development; Aviation Maintenance
and Aviation Logistics, all highly skilled attributes that;
position PAL for
the 21st century aviation market. He is a Senior Aviator
with 1400 flight hours and has commanded and served in several
Aviation assignments. George culminated his career in
the Army Materiel Command’s (AMC) Inspector General’s
Office.
Prior to his work with the AMC Inspector General’s Office,
George served as a Department of the Army board selected Product
Manager for the United States Army Special Operations Command’s
(USASOC) Mission Planning/Mission Rehearsal, Command and Control
Program for Aviation. As the Product Manager, George
was responsible for the $100 Million dollar Joint, Air Force
Special Operations Command (AFSOC), United States Army Special
Operations Command (USASOC), and Naval Special Warfare Command
(NAVSPECWARCOM), Special Operation Forces Planning and Rehearsal
System (SOFPARS) Program.
As a maintenance officer, he did Test and Evaluation on Night
Vision Goggles and FLIR Systems. While assigned to the
Flight Test Detachment he supported the Center for Night Vision
and Electro-Optics. His expertise in these areas puts PAL in
the forefront of the ever-changing electronic age that our
warfighters live in and execute from.
George has also been an Acquisition Inspector
for the Secretary of the Army regarding all matters pertaining
to policy and program management for multi-million dollar Special
Access Programs (SAPs), Special Mission Units (SMUs) and Sensitive
Activities (SAs).
He has earned a Masters Degree in Management from Florida
Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Florida; Bachelor of Science
Degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State
University, Greensboro, North Carolina. He is a graduate
of the United States Air Force Air Command and Staff College,
the United States Army Command and General Staff College and
the Defense System Management College.
